RG-5 Alpha/Beta Measurement Probe
Introduction
The RG-5 Alpha/Beta Measurement Probe is a miniaturized surface contamination measurement probe using Si-PM + dual scintillation technology architecture. This probe has a compact size, strong anti-interference ability, and stable and reliable measurement data. It is suitable for working conditions where traditional large-area surface contamination detectors cannot measure, such as radioactive pipelines, skin, wound measurements, etc.
The probe uses a plastic scintillator and zinc sulfide to form a composite probe, achieving simultaneous measurement of alpha and beta/gamma rays. Si-PM replaces photomultiplier tubes, overcoming the disadvantages of photomultiplier tubes that require high voltage and are not resistant to impact, vibration, magnetic fields, etc. The low-noise circuit design allows the probe to work stably in the temperature range of -40℃ to +50℃. The built-in digital waveform discrimination algorithm overcomes the disadvantages of alpha ray energy caused by measurement distance such as cross-talk ratio and low efficiency, making it stable and reliable.
