Introduction
The RG-220 Portable Alpha/Beta Counter (Radioactive Nasal Swab Detector) is a complete portable alpha/beta detection system independently developed by Jiechuang Nuclear Instruments (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. It can be used for security inspection, counter-terrorism, and pollution analysis at nuclear accident sites. It can perform rapid alpha, beta particle measurement and spectrum acquisition. Based on the acquired spectrum information, users can use it as a preliminary judgment basis.
The instrument is portable with built-in rechargeable battery, equipped with handle, placed in a sturdy and safe suitcase, convenient for field measurement. The device has a built-in thermal printer, and users can print measurement results in real time.
The system main detector is PIPS detector. The instrument is fully digital, integrating detector, preamplifier and shaping amplifier, MCA, power supply, touchscreen, and printer, with low power consumption, simple operation, and easy to carry.
