JIMCA32-1 Multi-Channel Acquisition System
Introduction
JIMCA32-1 Multi-Channel Acquisition System is a 32-channel universal solution designed for particle (nuclear) detector pulse signal readout. This system has energy and time readout functions, with low noise and low power consumption; with convenient readout control logic, it can easily achieve sparse, neighbor, all-channel and other readout schemes. This system is suitable for Si-PIN, CZT and other semiconductor particle detectors without multiplication effect, and can also be suitable for MaPMT (multi-anode photomultiplier tube), GEM (gas electron multiplier), Si-PM (silicon photomultiplier) and other detectors with certain gain.
The system uses 32-channel ASIC dedicated chip. Each channel of the chip includes charge sensitive preamplifier, filter shaping circuit (main amplifier), peak hold circuit and timing circuit. The peak value (energy information) of the pulse signal is sent to the analog output bus by the ASIC readout control logic for ADC reading; timing information is held by ASIC phase timing and also sent to the analog bus.
