  Introduction

  The AVATAR-F High-Speed Scintillation Digital MCA is a product designed for extreme count rate applications. It was developed to solve the problem that in some strong radiation fields, ordinary electronics cannot achieve high count throughput and cannot complete data measurement.

  The system has been completely upgraded and optimized to adapt to high count throughput. Tube-socket integrated design, integrates voltage divider circuit, preamplifier, programmable gain amplifier, digital shaping filter, temperature acquisition and necessary power supply units. While maintaining high count throughput, the overall power consumption is less than 2W, and it can still run in USB powered systems.

  l Variable gain: 512, 1024, 2048, 4096 channels software adjustable;

  l Reserved clock synchronization interface, synchronization accuracy 12.5ns;

  l Integrated temperature sensor, can perform temperature correction and peak position compensation for detector;

  l Stable and reliable for long-term operation, zero drift less than 1 channel in 72 hours, gain instability less than 0.2% in 72 hours;

  l Zero temperature coefficient: less than 0.2 channels/℃; gain temperature coefficient: less than 0.1%/℃;

  l Multiple communication modes optional: serial port, Ethernet, RS232, RS485, RS422, USB, etc.;

  l Digital pile-up rejection, digital gating, digital baseline restoration;

  l Integrated digital anti-coincidence/anti-cosmic interface, parameters flexible adjustable;

  l Count throughput characteristics:

  With LaBr3 detector, at input count rate of 500Kcps, resolution better than 3%, dead time better than 20%, peak drift better than 0.5%;

  With NaI detector, at input count rate of 200Kcps, resolution better than 7.5%, dead time better than 10%, peak drift better than 1%;

  l Detector high voltage: 0 to +1100Vdc, step 1V;

  l Dimensions: 63mm(diameter)*86mm(length), weight: <300g;

  l Power supply: +5V, power consumption <2W;

  l Operating temperature: -20℃~+55℃
