As of December 28, 2025. There is one BNCT center operating in Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, located at Taipei Veterans General Hospital. As of August 2025, it has treated over 600 patients with malignant tumors; InTwo BNCT centers will be established, located at China Medical University Hsinchu Hospital and Taipei Veterans General Hospital, both of which are AB-BNCT projects.

BNCT construction projects in mainland China are classified into operational, pre operational, under construction, and planned projects based on their operational status. The pre operational projects in the table include projects that have conducted or plan to conduct clinical research, as well as ongoing and planned projects, all of which have signed procurement agreements (or framework agreements) with BNCT radiation therapy system suppliers. Projects that have already started construction are considered ongoing projects, while those that have not yet started construction are considered planned projects. Hospitals whose project status has not been updated after 2020 are temporarily not included in the proposed project table。

According to incomplete statistics, there are a total of 19 BNCT construction projects in operation, under construction, and planned in mainland China, including 4 in the pre operation stage, 10 under construction, and 5 planned, which is rapidly increasing compared to 2024.
